I’m so glad we happened to meet Doaa while she was walk-training another dog. She masterfully handled my dog and the one she was training, and so I asked, “Are you a dog trainer?”

Doaa is warm, affectionate, and totally responsible. She took such excellent and loving care of our three kitties: one was senior and diabetic (needing daily insulin shots), another has issues that need special food, so every meal time meant two special foods and making sure that the right cat ate the right one! We have used Doaa’s services a few times now, both for walking and dog visits and we only have superlatives to say about her. In short, she has been amazing. Our rescue Pip is reactive and nervous around new dogs and people. But it took her next to no time to warm up to Doaa, and already on her second visit Pip couldn’t be more pleased to see Doaa. Having a nervous dog you also get a bit nervous as a dog parent when having your dog meeting a new sitter/walker and whether or not they will be able to understand your dogs needs fully. No worries at all with Doaa, not just being a genuine dog lover, she also has a lot of knowledge and experience with dogs who need a bit more attention, focusing on positive reinforcement. We feel fully relaxed and confident in Doaa’s abilities in taking care of our dog and would warmly recommend her.

I don’t think I could say enough nice things about Doaa. From our first meeting, she was incredibly affectionate and attentive with our 3 cats, and they absolutely responded in kind. They loved having her as a cat sitter. She was very adept at dealing with our special needs cat (one of our cats is asthmatic and has triaditis and needs a lot of attention), and was communicative with us, keeping us posted on all developments and sending us pictures to let us know how they were doing.

Doaa’s care, love, and responsibility for my 2 dogs far exceeded our expectations! My dogs are not the easiest as the Chihuahua is tiny, age 14 with arthritis, and needs help with stairs etc., and the bigger dog is a rescue with fear-based behavioural issues, but Doaa comforted, attended to their needs and loved my dogs as her own. She is very positive, knowledgeable, and skilled with calming and training– she gave me several tips. She gave them their meds, walked and played with them.
We exchanged texts, and Doaa sent photos- I could see that my dogs felt safe and happy.

Doaa was very a very cheerful and engaged sitter. She cares a lot about animals and cats and had a good energy. She was responsive and easy to communicate with. Monkey was calm and relaxed when I got back as she had gotten lots of cuddles from Doaa. I would request Doaa again in the future.

I have never left my 12 year old dog (who is more like my child) with someone she didn’t know as she’s a bit of a funny character and can get mopey when I go away. However, I am living in a new city where I don’t have the same options that I once did. Doaa took excellent care of my girl and was very interested to know everything about her in our visits prior to my trip. Unexpectedly, I had to take my pup to the vet hours before I flew out, which resulted her needing extra care while I was away and Doaa exceeded all of her needs and calmed my anxieties with multiple updates each day. I have already booked her to come back!

Doaa was a patient and loving pet-sitter for our little dog, Willow. She was able to take some time to get to know her before the sit and had the patience to work though Willow’s protective and nervous tendencies. Before long, Doaa had gained her trust and they became fast friends. We received many photos and updates while we were gone and trusted Doaa to make Willow as comfortable as possible. She contacted us immediately after Willow had a minor health issue and we resolved it together. The house was left as if no one had been there! Doaa was very clean and respectful of our space. 

Doaa is an absolute gem! I had to leave town quite suddenly for a funeral and Doaa found a way to make it work. She came a day ahead to pick up the keys and meet our cats, Chuck and Char and it was clear within minutes that things would be great. Chuck, Char’s big brother, can be aloof with strangers and usually takes a while to warm up to people. But Doaa won him over in minutes. While I was gone she sent pictures and kept me informed. When I returned the cats were happy and the house was shiny and clean. 

Doaa was incredible! She watched my cat and my very senior dog (who has quite a few issues) for two weeks, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience with Doaa! She was great to communicate with, sending me loads of pictures of my babies while I was gone. She bought them some treats and just spoiled them rotten! Thanks Doaa!!

Doaa was absolutely wonderful! Our Diesel was so well cared for. Doaa sent us regular updates and photos because she knew we missed him so much. Doaa is a lovely, trustworthy sitter and we can’t recommend her highly enough.
