Online Dog Behavior Breakthrough Session
Dogs Don’t Misbehave. They Communicate.
A holistic online dog training session for conscious, loving dog parents ready to help their dogs move from survival to safety, regulation, confidence, and fulfillment.
One deep, 2-hour virtual holistic dog behavior consultation to uncover and address the root causes of your dog’s anxiety, fear, or reactivity.
Hi, I’m Doaa: A Holistic Dog Trainer Online
I’m an online holistic dog trainer based in Vancouver, Canada.
Throughout my life, I’ve worked with a wide variety of dogs, including street dogs, rescue dogs, and dogs with complex behavioral challenges, across different countries, cultures, and environments.
When I moved to Canada, I was deeply shocked by how mainstream dog training treats dogs.
To me, dogs are family. They deserve respect, empathy, compassion, and understanding.
Throughout my life, I have never struggled to connect with or support a dog, regardless of their history, personality, or behavioral challenges. That made one thing clear:
There is a fundamental flaw in traditional, compliance-based dog training.
Because there is absolutely nothing wrong with your dog.
Dog behavior is communication. It is a direct reflection of your dog’s emotional state and nervous system. Most behavior struggles stem from unmet survival needs, perceived danger, chronic stress, fear, frustration, overwhelm, or a combination of multiple factors.
I created this 2-hour virtual dog behavior breakthrough session as the foundational entry point into my obedience-free holistic dog training programs, so I can help and support struggling dogs and empower their parents across Canada and the US to look beyond surface-level symptoms.
Our dogs cannot solve their own problems, change their environment, or meet their own needs.
We are the only ones who can do that for them.
In this deep-dive dog behavior consultation, we’ll uncover the root causes behind your dog’s reactivity, anxiety, or fear, then map out exactly what needs to change in order to help your dog return to safety, regulation, confidence, and fulfillment.
Is This Dog Behavior Breakthrough Session For You?
Every dog is welcome here.
Your dog deserves understanding, not judgment.
This session is designed for overwhelmed dogs of all ages and breeds, including puppies, adolescents, adults, seniors, rescue dogs, and dogs with complex behavioral challenges.
This is root-cause dog behavior modification for dogs struggling with:
Reactivity & Fear: Leash reactivity, selective reactivity, hypervigilance, environmental stress, fear-based responses, and the overwhelmed reactive dog.
Anxiety & Stress: Generalized anxiety, separation anxiety, anxious attachment, chronic stress, and the lasting effects of past trauma.
Aggression & Resource Guarding: Dog aggression, fight responses, resource guarding, and other safety-related behavioral challenges.
Relationship Conflicts: Tension, conflict, or misunderstandings with family members, visitors, other or other pets.
It’s Also Suitable For:
Newly Adopted Dogs: Learning to feel safe, settle into a new environment, build trust, and adjust to life with a new family.
Puppies & Adolescent Dogs: Building confidence, learning healthy social skills, developing emotional stability, and gaining positive life experiences during critical stages of development.
Dog Parents Seeking Clarity and Connection:
Learning how to better understand their dog’s needs, struggles, connect with them on a deeper level, and make them feel safe, happy, and truly fulfilled.
Are We A Good Fit?
I do this work because I genuinely want to help dogs become happier, more fulfilled, and better understood by solving their problems and meeting their needs.
Even though this is a one-off session, I still want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the dogs I work with. That’s why I choose to partner with loving, conscious, and action-oriented dog parents who are just as committed and invested in their dog’s well-being as I am, and who are willing to implement the foundational changes that make real progress possible.
If that sounds like you, then we’re a great fit.
You view your dog as family, and believe in working with them, not against them.
You are open-minded, and willing to look at your dog’s behavior from a new perspective.
You are coachable, willing to look at your own blind spots, emotional triggers, and communication patterns.
You are done with quick fixes, control, suppression, and transactional treat-bribes, and are looking for an obedience-free, mindful and holistic approach.
You want to build your dog's confidence, and learn how to calm and regulate their nervous system in triggering situations.
You genuinely want to understand your dog, meet their needs and solve their problems.
You value trust, transparency, and personalized private training over generic, surface level advice.
You’re action-oriented and willing to implement the action plan, because progress and lasting results come from implementation and consistent practice.

What Dog Parents say
★★★★★
Doaa’s training is not like any other training I’ve tried – and that is a very good thing!I have a very sensitive rottie and he has trauma, both from a bad vet and from bad trainers in the past.Doaa’s training is ALL about boosting his confidence and empowering him. Giving him freedom to express himself – safely – so that he doesn’t get all this pent up anxiety. I am blown away by the transformation I’ve seen in my dog. He has gone from snapping at people for trying to pet him, to actually seeking snuggles.I highly recommend Doaa, particularly if you think your dog is insecure or sensitive.

FAQ
Do you work with all dog breeds and ages?
Absolutely. All dogs are welcome here, regardless of breed, age, history, or behavioral challenges. Helping dogs move from survival to safety and fulfillment is at the heart of everything I do.
Can I book this session if I have more than one dog?
Yes. We’ll split our time between your dogs while focusing primarily on the dog who needs the most support.
Can I book this session if I live in a multi-pet household?
Yes. We’ll look at the entire environment to support all the cats and dogs living together in your household while prioritizing the dog who needs the most support.
Do you offer this online session throughout Canada and the US?
Yes. This online dog behavior breakthrough session is available to dog parents across Canada and the US. And is conducted virtually via zoom.
Don’t you need to see my dog’s behavior in person?
No. This is a common misconception many dog owners have. My work is focused on understanding your dog’s emotional state, nervous system triggers, behavior patterns, environment, and unmet needs. None of that requires me to be physically present.
What I need is to understand your dog’s inner world, not control their behavior in the moment.
That’s why we have a deep, 2-hour session to explore what’s really driving your dog’s struggles, how they perceive themselves and their environment, and what needs to change to help them feel safer, more confident, and more fulfilled.
Can you really help with dog aggression through a screen?
Absolutely. This is root-cause behavior work, not surface-level symptom suppression.
True behavior modification starts by decoding the internal drivers behind the outward symptoms. We use this virtual dog behavior breakthrough session to identify your dog’s unique nervous system triggers, hidden environmental stressors, unmet needs, and the factors contributing to their reactions.
You’ll walk away with a clear understanding of why your dog is struggling, what is keeping them stuck in survival mode, and the foundational changes needed to help them move toward safety, regulation, and confidence.
Can one session really help with my dog’s reactivity?
Yes. This session is designed to create a major clarity shift and give you a clear roadmap for moving forward.
What mainstream culture labels as a “reactive dog” is often an overwhelmed dog stuck in an active survival loop.
Our goal is to help your dog move out of survival mode and back toward safety while building confidence around their current triggers. A confident dog feels bigger than their environment and more capable of navigating challenges without becoming overwhelmed.
When dogs feel safer, more supported, and better regulated, they are often able to respond to the world with greater calm, confidence, and resilience.
Who will I have this session with?
You’ll work directly with me. I do not outsource my work or employ other trainers.
Every session is intuitive, mindful, and personalized based on the unique dog and human in front of me.
How long is this session?
This is a full 2-hour deep-dive session over Zoom.
This is not a quick chat or a one-size-fits-all script. Every dog, relationship, and household dynamic is different, so I take the time to deeply understand your unique situation and create a personalized, easy-to-implement action plan tailored to your dog, and your lifestyle.
Will I see progress after only one session?
Yes – if you implement the foundational action plan in my recap email, you’ll see real improvements.
Sustainable progress is directly tied to implementation and consistent practice.
The more of the action plan you put into place, and the more consistently you follow through, the more progress you’ll see.
I do my absolute best to create a personalized action plan that is realistic, achievable, and easy to integrate into your lifestyle.
Will I be able to implement this training with my busy schedule?
Yes. My work is entirely personalized, results-driven, and designed to fit into your lifestyle.
Rather than asking you to set aside hours for repetitive, robotic training drills, we focus on creating meaningful shifts in communication, environment, walks, and daily routines.
I do my absolute best to create an action plan that is realistic, achievable, and easy to integrate into your everyday life.
Once the foundational changes are in place, we’ll look at your dog’s feedback and refine, expand, and improve the plan accordingly.
How is holistic dog training different from traditional dog training methods?
Traditional dog training relies on obedience commands, physical control, behavioral suppression, operant conditioning, and transactional manipulation, such as bribing with treats to distract from triggers. These methods prioritize human convenience at the expense of the dog’s emotional well-being.
My work as an online holistic dog trainer focuses entirely on emotional safety, nervous system regulation, confidence building, and lifestyle fulfillment.
I work with your dog, never against them.
When your dog feels profoundly safe, respected, and understood, the symptom behavior naturally fades away because it is no longer needed.
I don’t use obedience to mask fear. I use nervous system regulation, confidence building, and lifestyle fulfillment to build genuine resilience.
What does “obedience-free” actually mean?
It means we stop fighting the symptoms and start understanding the dog having them.
My work is all about understanding, helping, and supporting your dog so they can become the most empowered version of themselves.
We don’t use obedience with our partners or children. That’s called a toxic relationship. So why use dog obedience training with our dogs?
Dogs respond to positive communication, emotional support, and a parent who always has their back.
Control and suppression won’t solve your problems. Emotional regulation will.
Do you use positive reinforcement training?
If by positive reinforcement you mean positive communication, praising, celebrating, encouraging, and ensuring your dog feels safe, respected, and valued at all times, then yes, absolutely.
However, I do not use positive reinforcement transactionally to distract, manipulate, or bribe a dog into compliance while ignoring their internal panic, fear, or discomfort.
I am not interested in a “well-behaved” robot. I am interested in a well-regulated companion who feels free, capable, confident, and fully supported by a parent who has their back.
What dog training techniques do you use?
I don’t use generic techniques, rigid formulas, or cookie-cutter scripts.
Every dog, every human, and every relationship dynamic is different. Rather than forcing the same training method onto every dog, I work intuitively with the unique dog and human in front of me to help you both connect, communicate, and co-regulate on a deeper level.
Helping your dog regulate their nervous system, gain confidence, while solving their problems and meeting their needs is my top priority. I just connect with dogs, understand them and empower them, so they have nothing to fear or react to.
Your dog’s life is incredibly valuable, and I believe every dog deserves the opportunity to feel safe, empowered, fulfilled, and fully enjoy it.
How do I help my dog build confidence?
Building your dog’s confidence requires a mindset shift first.
It begins with recognizing that defensive behaviors are often expressions of fear, vulnerability, overwhelm, or unmet needs. When you shift your perspective from “my dog is reactive or stubborn” to “my dog is struggling,” you can show up as a grounded, protective parent instead of a frustrated one.
During our session, we’ll map out what confidence building will look like for your dog based on their personality, current triggers, environment, unmet needs, and your relationship dynamic.
Do you offer private holistic dog training programs in Vancouver?
Yes. While this Dog Behavior Breakthrough Session is conducted online, I am a holistic dog trainer in Vancouver, BC.
I offer in-person training programs within central Vancouver if you live or can bring your dog there.
Do you offer group classes?
No. I only offer 1:1 private dog training sessions.
Every dog, relationship, and household dynamic is different, so my work is deeply personalized to the specific dog and family I’m working with in order to create meaningful, lasting success.
You have the power to solve your dog’s problems, and yours. And to make them happy & fulfilled.
They are totally worth it
