What Is Holistic Cat Training?
Behaviour doesn’t happen in a vacuum.
Your cats personality, needs and wants, past experiences and the associations that come with it, their current environment, triggers, relationships, lifestyle, health, nutrition and their perception of their reality are all contributors to the resulted symptoms that we call “Behavior problems”.
Holistic cat training and behavior modifications are used to address all the contributors to behavior problems and sort them out one by one.

How Does It Work?
- Training Programs are designed to produce long lasting results:
So please choose the appropriate training program based on the guidelines above, the number of pets you have, the number of behaviour issues, and how chronic they are.
The bare minimum for relationship building training; cat-to-cat and dog-to-cat introductions is the plus program. It’s just not possible to go through the introduction process in less time.
- Training sessions are in-person, or remotely based on your location:
In-person sessions are only available in limited Vancouver central locations; Mainly Downtown, West-End, Kitsilano, Mt Pleasant.
Otherwise our sessions will be remotely via zoom video calling.
There’s absolutely no difference between in-person and remote sessions since you are the one doing the work in all cases. But I will be with you every step of the way.
- The initial consult session:
A 2 hour long session, and is mandatory for all programs. From there we will build the foundation and establish the training plan. Our initial consult session will cover:
Part 1: Learning everything about your cat, personality, preferences, history, health conditions; if any, and current behavior problems in details.
Part 2: Meet your cat(s) and see them in action; either in-person or remotely.
Part 3: A tour of your place in-person or remotely; everywhere accessible to your kitties. And a personalized catification plan accordingly.
Part 4: Personality assessment, root cause of behavior issues, personalized training plan & homework.
Part 5: Q & A.
- Follow-up Sessions:
1-2 hour each, scheduled monthly to assess progress, address any issues, and to do LIVE cat training & practice; espectially for introductions.
Follow up sessions also include a personalized written follow up email for each session with the next steps.
Additional Follow-up sessions are $250/Session (Including 1 month of text support) booked to provide additional training and support; if/when needed.
- Text Support:
I will be with you every step of the way. We will stay in touch in between sessions to keep me posted with the current progress, videos, pics and updates, to answer your questions, and to address any new issues that come up.
- Payment:
Payment is accepted as e-transfer and is due in full to confirm booking once the invoice is received.
- Cancellation Policy:
Consultation fees are fully refundable if you provide 48 hours notice BEFORE the initial consult session.
Consultation fees are none refundable in the event of a NO SHOW or AFTER the initial consult.
- Guarantees:
I’m very committed to making progress, producing long lasting results, and making both your pets and you very happy in the process. That’s why I do what I do. I want to see positive changes in your pets life and yours.
As long as you actively participate in this process, execute the training plan, and make the recommended changes, results are guaranteed. I just can’t do it without you.
- Availability:
Since you will be working directly with me, and given the high level of support I provide to my existing clients, my time is limited. I can only take a few new clients every month. And it’s first booked, first served.
If you need a priority booking, please indicate that on your booking request, and I will do my best to put you on my priority list to schedule our initial consult as soon as possible.
